Paula Workman, Founder/Advisor
Paula Workman comes from a long line of entrepreneurs and her passion is helping business owners maximize returns and minimize taxes while creating and implementing strategic initiatives. She wholeheartedly believes in the words of Michael Gerber, “it is important to work on your business, not just in your business.”
During Paula’s tenure as Co-Owner/CFO for her family businesses (which reached over $80 million in annual revenues), the company was ranked in the Austin Business Journal’s Fast 50 and Best Places to Work. Unlike most consultants, she has rare insight into family and closely-held businesses. She has served on several for-profit and non-profit boards of directors and is a past nominee of Austin Business Journal Best CFO in Austin.
In 2013, Paula’s family sold their company and she created Workman White Business Strategies (formally Success Tree Business Consulting). Since she created the plan and spearheaded the sale of the company, Paula received amazing insight into what it takes and what it is like to sell a business. At that point, she set out to help others with this crucial transition.
Faith, nature, courage, and philanthropy are important to Paula. She enjoys playing legos with her kids and has won pretty much every lip-sync contest she enters (just for fun). She loves adoption and helped start a meaningful non-profit here in Austin. Paula loves to laugh with friends over a bottle of wine or golf.
She is a creative visionary that is collaborative, fair, and insightful.
